#1 Using your Make-up Brush to Clean AC-vents
This one is for all the ladies out there who drive around. You might not even be aware but your air vents can get pretty dusty over time. All you have to do is bring along your biggest, fluffiest brush and use it to brush off the dust. Try to use an old brush, so that you can keep it solely for this purpose. You might want to clean your old brush before using. There is no point in using a dirty brush, it will make your car vents dirtier than before.
#2 Clean-up the Car Seats Using Vinegar & Baking Soda
Let’s face it, we are all guilty of spilling liquids over our car seats every now and then. A paste of vinegar and baking soda could help you get rid of any stains on your car seat upholstery (this method is invalid for leather – obviously). All you have to do is scrub the mixture all over the upholstery and let it stay for a while. The stain will disappear in a matter of minutes!
#3 Olive Oil for your Dashboard
We have all heard that Olive Oil is great for our skin and hair. But, did you know that olive oil is great for your dashboard as well. Only a few drops and your dashboard will be new and shiny like never before! Additionally, it is also a great way to retain the moisture within the car parts and they are more difficult to crack over time.
#4 Cupcake Liners as Cup Holders
If you are fussy of leaving your coffee cup inside your car cup holder then this hack is perfect for you. Use a silicon cupcake liner inside the cup holder and this will sort out your issues. Into the bargain, they will collect every small piece of dust and gunk in them. All you have to do is dust it off when the time comes.
#5 Use Conditioner & Lanolin for Shine
Once you have washed your car, you can make it all shiny by using a mixture of conditioner and lanolin! As crazy is this sounds, this actually works! Funny how the greatest cleaning products were right there all this time!
